2022.03.24 - A day in the Lake District

Post by Heal1979 » Sat Apr 09, 2022 10:39 am

Mid-March in the Lake District proved fruitful with a hike to Birk Fell, by Ullswater.

It was incredible to see Deck Flight 1-4 (2x35's Valkyries and 2x 15Cs Reapers) before 9am, followed by WFFFFR Flight (4x F-15Es (World Famous Flying Fighting F**king Rocketeers) around 11:30am.

My first experience of the Lakes for aviation, and hopefully won't be the last :)

Errrrr... Wow... wow... wow... absolutely fantastic... really enjoyed looking at these and looking at them again :D ... you have a great talent and well executed in great light and detail.

I like every one of them but shots 1...7 and 13 are all mind blowing... any of which have got to be a contender for Photo of the Month.

Thank you very much for sharing these :thumb: .

A lovely selection of pictures, thanks for posting. Just a minor point, but should these not be in the dedicated Low Level Photography section?

All great shots but #1 is absolutely beautiful with all the subtle colours and the reflections on the water. It would be a great shot even if you took the subject matter away👏
