Lossie Hornetfest - 01 Dec 21.

Post by aenstrop » Thu Dec 09, 2021 7:35 pm

A few from a look down at Lossie recently when the Swiss and Canadian Air Forces visited with their Hornets.

The Swiss were in from Leeming, before heading off to the west coast. The Canadians were returning from a deployment to Romania in support of NATO air policing.

Gotta love a Hornet, and to see two operators of type in the same day at Lossie.

Very nice photos . Always loved the Hornet , but I think the Eagle looks sexier. Is that the right word? 😂😂

Really good shots. Beginning to wish the RAF had gone for the F18 rather than the F35 - much better looking and more capable. Probably cheaper too!
