HMX-1 Presidential Helicopter assets at RNAS Culdrose

Post by Bobbster » Tue Jun 08, 2021 8:41 pm

Well exciting times at RNAS Culdrose for a change. Message around 8pm told me the Presidential Sea King VH-3D aircraft were outside. Quick trip up the base as I got there the engine sran up and then in came Nighthawk 31 flight the escort aircraft for this evening. Fantastic to witness never mind photograph. Here is a small selection from the evening:

Another great set from the SW.

It’s going to seem so dull when all these exotic airframes return to their usual abode!

Thanks for posting.

Super set

My fav is number 2 - to get two VH-3 together in one shot both looking good is unique .

Yep Seakings back at Culdrose who would have thought
