Another one from "Warsaw-on-the-Mole"

Post by johnwickenden » Wed Apr 28, 2021 3:35 pm

Nothing as exciting at F35s I'm afraid, but Gatwick (or "Warsaw-on-the-Mole") got yet another visitor from the Polish Air Force today - 2nd this week - this time in the shape of CASA 295 serial 021, call sign PLF038. This one arrived direct from Warsaw at 1152L before departing back 1 hr later

I wonder what will be next and when we might get a visit from Gulfstream 0002 or the new BBJ?
Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

I don't believe they are. They happened regularly every Thursday....LGW is getting Polish visitors using a variety of types and with no recognisable schedule. Besides, these flights are in and out more quickly that the con-air flights

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but does anyone know why Gatwick had a sudden influx of so many Polish types around the time of these photos? There were Hercules, 737, Gulfstream and C295 all making fairly frequent visits, but I never knew why (the same could also be said for the Belgian Falcon 7Xs).
