"Wake Island Avengers" arrive at Lakenheath

Post by James Cutting » Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:36 pm

Well, the light was tough - but typically golden 15 minutes earlier! :grr: Thanks to everyone yesterday with the heads up, much appreciated! Was a good laugh at the fence seeing some familiar faces again :thumb: Missed these deploy last year so will take half this time :D

Great work James. Good to see them on the deck - and a lot quieter than being under them on finals. Glad we're getting A models to be based and not Bs!

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Some of the comments in the photo section eh.
My view is it’s a sort of ugly looking aircraft in some well taken pictures in challenging conditions . :thumb:
