AK C-17

Post by skidrow » Sun Jan 31, 2021 4:34 pm

Nice to see an Alaskan C-17 at Mildenhall. Managed to bag this from the garden as it departed this morning sadly light wasn't as great as it has been recently.

Also the RC from Thursday nothing special but glad of the photo opportunity.

Hoping we'll see the AK tankers at some point as well. They have 8 different tail marks with links to different Alaskan communities. Nice to see quite a few ANG units marking up aircraft, just hope they escape the USAF insignia review.

Good info Gary - this sounds very promising indeed. Here's an article with more info and some pictures of the first scheme to be unveiled: https://www.nationalguard.mil/News/Arti ... atotanker/
