2020 for centaurus18 (inc 2 x civvy!)
15 shots from my year out and about in between work commitments - 2020 seems to have whizzed by .
January saw an unexpected capture of an Army Air Corps Wildcat doing Under-Slung Loading training....
A shot of a grey Merlin under grey and wet February skies...
...and a Puma in blue February skies!
March saw a dash to Fairford to see my first B-2 for over 20 years....
Nowt for April for obvious reasons, but late May brought out a Chinook operating locally....
....and a rather nice cab at Portland.
I went civvy in June to catch this beauty lifting out of Bournemouth after being stored there.
Some movements caught in July, from my only visit of the year to Yeovilton
...some hate the scheme, some like it - I am in the latter camp.
Later that month, back to Portland for some Sea King action.
August saw this jet detached to Boscombe Down. Some like the scheme, others don't. I am in the latter camp (but I will always tog it!)
An A400M banks around my vantage point during September.
A type that departed Middle Wallop earlier this month, this Apache AH.1 arrived from Wattisham for a mission in Wiltshire in October..
This Scout cab was snaffled on the penultimate afternoon before Lockdown II commenced in November.
A trip to Westland in early December bagged this machine...
Ending the thread for the year is this superb Sea King, recently restored to fly by HeliOperations at Portland.
Thanks for your time, and best wishes to all for 2021.
