Looks like it was taken from the top of the hill at the 06 end from the outside…. nothing in the post suggests it was on base…

Maybe the inference is that the plane is "on base". Any sign of action today, Monday 7th.? RAF or USMC will encourage me to see Marham for the first time in many a year.

crikey the plane was (shot on base) as it was taxing to park picture taken from the end of Runway 06, it all depends how You wish to define on base, IE the person who took the pic was also on base inside the fence or took the pic through the wire outside the base which ever way you look at it the Plane was (on base)!!
