A day by the lake in LFA17 19/08/20

After very little low level activity, save for a day in LFA7 which I'll post under a separate thread, I thought I'd have some peace and tranquility in the Lake District. Having spied a few photos previously of the west side of Thirlmere, I set off and scrambled my way to a clearing and perched for the day. Traffic was light but at least there was some reward for solitary hours on the side of a hill....

I think the saying goes, "everything comes to those who wait", good work You would never have caught them if my missus had been with you, I quote "nothing's happening, can we go home now" Having said that you would have done well to get her past the scrambling bit
