A quick evening visit to Yeovilton

Post by Seacat192 » Wed Jun 24, 2020 8:34 am

Watching a pair of Ospreys flying towards the SW, and then reading Slogens' message they were heading to the Yeovilton area, I took the chance and went to Yeovilton in the hope the Ospreys called in.

As we know now, the Ospreys went to Portland, but I still got a few movements at Yeovilton before the airfield closed down from the based Merlin and Wildcat fleet.

Hi

Sorry about that - I did hear them afterwards say " heading to Yeovilton - Portland area for training" I should have corrected my post but I assumed someone else would do so

Anyway you got some nice evening shots

A couple of decent shots there nonetheless, particularly like the first Wildcat.
