Asia Trip 2019

Post by alizam » Thu Dec 26, 2019 11:34 am

Like many aviation enthusiasts, I travelled to Asia in autumn 2019 to see the various aviation gems that this continent offers. I travelled firstly to Korea for ADEX and South Korean phantoms, then on to Taiwan for its diverse air force, and finally on to Japan to see the phantoms for one last time before retirement.

Hope you enjoy the images!

Thanks for these Alistair. What a wonderful way to brighten up a very wet Boxing Day here in Nottingham. How I wish I could get to go on a trip like this. Not at all envious.................

Wow, that is a trip and a half, great selection of photos. I'm just a tad envious!

Did you have any special access in South Korea and Taiwan, or are the airshows and locations available to anyone who is prepared to do a bit of research?

Beautiful images! Such a variety. I remember the RAF being like that. Such a long way to travel to see such a variety these days.
