Donna Nook 19.11.19
Hi All
Took a drive up to Donna yesterday, the weather forecast was excellent and with the flare trials NOTAMed I thought it was worth a punt. Had forgotten that it's seal season- spent the day with a stream of hundreds of people looking at me and the other few aviation enthusiasts present as if we were nuts. We are, of course. Here's what I managed to capture...

Hopefully worth a look. Fun trivia reward if you've made it this far- Donna Nook was named after a Spanish Galleon, the 'Donna' which ran aground here in 1588- part of the scattered remnants of the Armada. Who knew? Not me, until I read an Information board yesterday.

The last shot is great.
Pity there were so many people around, the Apache's could have got some target practice in on the seals. .................Just a joke for any PC folk.

Be careful, you will have Humberside Police coming round to " check your thinking."
They can call it what they want
