Swiss F18's Leeming 13 Nov 19

Post by toom317 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 10:07 pm

Some pics from todays F18 action at Leeming. First movement wasn't till around 2.30 PM, and with no Hawks around , it was a pretty quiet day. There were some Grobs pounding the circuit throughout the day, and a Puma made a flying visit. It was sunny most of the day, right up to the point the F18's got active, then it clouded over. 8 aircraft flew on the afternoon series of sorties.

In order taken.

Very nice shots, thanks for posting. May I ask from where they were taken?

Considering how poor the light was you have some good 'uns' Danny.... same old story good light all day till as soon as they roll out the aircraft and grey cloud suddenly fills the sky.. nice chatting with you again mate

Nowt wrong with Grobs, pilots got to start somewhere before whizzing around in big ole sexy jets. And at least they flew in nice light.

Very nice

Having just tried some shots of the afternoon recoveries I can appreciate how clear your shots are.
