Marham and Holbeach 13.11.19

Post by Thunderbolt II » Wed Nov 13, 2019 9:01 pm

Hi all

A few pics from a trip out East today. First up Marham, for the much heralded 'role demo' which turned out to be a single F-35 belting around a bit. It was surprisingly enjoyable, think they might grow on people eventually(!) Then to Holbeach, hoping to see some tracer. My wish was granted, but for once was wanting the light to fade quicker! Took the tripod to attempt some long exposure shots I've been plotting in the back of my mind for about two years, waited for it to get dark enough to look really effective, but just as I'd set it up, Vortex called complete and cleared off to Marham! Managed to get a few in the twilight handheld that look okish, but nothing I haven't shot before really. Enough rambling, hope these are worth a peek...

I like the F-35 shots. I am sure that sound and big speakers would be great for the Chinook images!

Brilliant pics. I personally think the F35 is quite photogenic, certainly no less than the Typhoon.

It’ll never beat the Tornado though!

I agree, Tornado is my favourite aircraft of all one. I also agree with the dirty comment, although looks pretty cool with the weapons bay open!

Does she need a password entered to launch a weapon though? 😂
