Hungary - Gripen and Mi-24 live firing

Post by Levente » Thu Nov 07, 2019 1:36 pm

The Hungarian Defence Ministry announced that the air force will do night live firing this week
and asks the locals understanding for the noise.
So I packed my stuff and stayed till the end one day.
Quality is not perfect all the time

Lovely stuff,thanks for sharing.
Where is the range?
I've been to Kecskemet twice and unfortunately nothing flew on either visit.

Hi!

The range is here: https://goo.gl/maps/KMS2RPmGbktgHY5x9
This is called "0" Point, the range goes west and east as well from here.
When were you at Kecskemét?

Excellent. Love live firing shots, particularly with tracer!

There are days when there is no flying in the morning, only in the afternoon
In the past friday was also a non-flying day usually.
If you come next time drop me a message I can check the Hungarocontrol website for
the TRA restrictions. I usually check that to know when the flying usually starts.
But only a day before I know the next one.
