AMI P-72 at Inverness 27/10/19

Post by Thunder » Sun Oct 27, 2019 5:09 pm

Having missed the last three opportunities, I finally managed to catch the Italian P-72A on it's way home to Italy from Iceland. Having missed it landing, everything hinged on catching it taxi out on departure. I tried a new spot for me on the Northside of the airport, however 8 times out of 10 the sun would be directly in front of you here, but today that wasn't an issue. Posted a few shots as I don't get to post much.

P-72A, MM62279, 41-01, 41 Stormo, Sigonella.

Great shots Scott and well done for catching it eventually. :thumb:
How did you manage to get to that viewpoint, are they taken through the fence at the old runway 11 threshold?

Nice set of shots - a lot of 'lumps and bumps' on that grey beastie!
