a couple of shots from a very quiet JW-2 at RAF Lossiemouth, (all taken through the anti climb fence that's been erected around the 202 side of the field)
if it wasn't for the Choppers there be no point going over, as the Typhoon squadrons are ether on well deserved leave or oversea's;
looking forward to the RAF P-8's arriving, a lot of work ongoing in preparation for there arrival, airfield work starts January 2020.

Very nice! On average how many Typhoons fly a day?

Thanks

Only IX Squadron flying/home at the minute. Lucky if it's two pairs for the day recently.

Also evident by the lack of comms from the base - not like it was 10 years ago :(
