Dorian Evacuees...Update

Post by hawgwash » Sun Sep 01, 2019 3:14 am

Eleven aircraft arrived at Carswell Field today from Navy Jax to avoid the hurricane. We're expecting 120 plus aircraft tomorrow and Monday.

I do really like the P8 with proper markings, nearly as good as the old P3 days if you can remember those
was lucky enough to do NAS Moffett Field - 10.1981 where we logged 47 P3B/P3C, but alas no pictures as it was done from the outside early one morning :thumb:
don't know if the US.NAVY would have allowed it anyway and now never will

Great to see an active P-3C again, getting rarer by the day, and nice catch on the P-8A with underside radar pod.
Cheers.

Well, we never made it to 120 but I'll settle for the about 90 which we did. A small selection from the last four or five days.

Great stuff in lovely weather, haven’t seen that scheme on the adversary F-18 before.

You can divert those A/c over here any day, especially the USMC F/A18's those markings are really cool
