Six more British F-35B arrive at Marham on runway 06 during the early evening

Except for the brand new ZM152 they all have a lightning strike on the tail and the last three of the serial on the nose.

I have only posted the taxi back shots along the northern taxiway (Alpha) in landing order [9711,2,5,6,3,4]

I believe the F-35B are pooled or jointly owned by the Navy and the RAF so they are likely to be generic markings to all British F-35B

On aircraft carriers aircraft are usually clearly marked and easily identified by codes etc

Great post Mike, as fresh as it gets. The Lightning Flash is great and the last three on the nose certainly a bonus to identify pics taken....and I assume for the 'linies' to quickly identify frames when they are operational.

Blasphemy to some, but I have to say I think they look tremendously smart with the lightning flash and codes.

It's not quite the squadron markings that we all hope for, but it's something. If they can do this, then it bodes well for further markings in the future, even if they aren't as colourful as desired
