Bastille Day 2019

Post by tommc » Tue Jul 16, 2019 6:55 am

Weather was dull, overcast, with very low cloud. It was my first time at this event, and I came back with mixed feelings. Fantastic numbers, not overly happy with pictures, though the weather did not help. The flypast ones were taken from the Nanterre district.

Nice shots Tom! Captured the event well, weather really wasn't on your side.

Nice to see such a variety of shots from a flypast, some nice captures in there :)

French Army Cougars certainly aren't a common sight, very nice!

Excellent location & great shots in flat light. Can't fault the content either! Just as an aside, my first thought for shot 16 was 'why is that NH-90 tethered?' :S

Hi Tom :P

Got to disagree with you here

Considering the light and conditions, you have got some crackers there

Well done you ;)

Thanks for posting :thumb:

Thanks, but the location was not quite as I was hoping. But, then again, I haven't seen any images taken this year from the starboard side of the flypast, so don't have anything to compare with.
