Just a small one from me, made a quick trip over to Lakenheath to catch the 5 493rd F-15C's returning from their deployment. Was a good excuse to try out the new lens (Canon 100-400mm MK2) before RIAT Light not great, but good to see the Grim Reapers back home. Enjoy

Great set of shots... looks like the new lens is giving good results... can't beat a bit if practice... especially when the subject matter is an F15C Reaper .

Nice set of photos.

But does anyone know why the F-15Cs are carrying what look like Sniper pods?
Have they been engaging in mud moving?
