LC-130H @ The 'Hall

Post by The Apprentice » Mon Jun 24, 2019 3:08 pm

Hi all,

One shot wonder from me this afternoon of this week's (and probably 2019's) Mildenhall highlight.

LC-130H 76-3301, 139th AS/109th AW. NY ANG/ NSF.

Enjoy

Saw its sister ship at Pt Mugu a couple of years ago. It looks like it has ‘J’ model props? Nice catch.

I was lucky enough to see this aircraft at Christchurch NZ back in 2003!

Lovely catch

I saw it in DM during the late nineties and last week in Paris with some 8 bladed props

New York Hercs are the best looking Hercs around in my opinion

Noted that leaving Paris late morning on ads-b and tracking north to Mildenhall - shame it only did a 'gas n go' before leaving for Prestwick - would have definitely made a dash down for that beauty
Pleased you got the shot and thanks for posting
