Return of the Gunfighters - LKN 13/04/19

Popped down to Lakenheath to photograph the return of the Gunfighters, who are making their way back to the US following a deployment in the Middle East. The aircraft are still wearing their mission markings, these are normally removed once they are home.

Very good and nice and sharp

I was in the same spot but found my shots to be a bit soft , it was darker than I thought.

I did over-expose by about a 1/3 on my camera but still had to brighten them a bit afterwards, and I added a lot of fill light to compensate for the strong shadows.

Nice job capturing these, and all the nose detail. Let's hope some of those guys don't have to eject, or their dirty laundry is going to be floating all over the sky.
