Prestwick Hawks

Post by Thunderbolt II » Wed Apr 03, 2019 2:21 pm

Hi all
Took a long drive up to the frozen north for Joint Warrior. Drove back today through a snow covered landscape in Ayrshire, Cumbria and Durham. Global warming, eh? Here are some pics of temporarily based and visiting Hawks, last of the ‘classics’ in UK military service now I guess. Hope they are of some interest. Other types to follow. Thanks for looking!

Nice selection there, especially the pairs taking off. (By the way you can't call it Global Warming, because that would be a positive thing, so the tree huggers prefer to call it Climate Change, now).
