Royal Army Lynx as fire training aircraft
Royal Army Lynx as fire training aircraft
Hello,
I went to NRN today for some diversions and a private jet (civ) which can be found here: https://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/foru ... 69&t=32340
Afterwards, I went to the fire training area and to my surprise they had a Lynx there.

Good one Zonan. I hope you don't mind my pointing out that it is not "Royal Army" - Air Force and Navy are (RAF and RN) but just Army. Odd one if you are not familiar. Just trying to be helpful

Ah okay, thank you. I also found something called "army air corps", is that the full name?Nighthawke wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 9:30 pmGood one Zonan. Yes sorry I should have been clearer. As a whole it is the British Army and the air arm is the Army Air Corps (AAC for short).
Re: Royal Army Lynx as fire training aircraft
What's an "NRN"?
Re: Royal Army Lynx as fire training aircraft
Niederrhein Airport (Weeze, RAF Laarbruch, etc.)
According to Eurodemobbed this is XZ669 which arrived from Baarlo. It is visible on Google Maps too.

NRN is indeed the IATA code of airport Weeze, I should have been clearer there...
