Went to Marham on Thursday 14 March 2019 to watch what is apparently the last flight of a RAF Tornado.
As usual I was in the wrong position from the point of view of the sun but it was still well worth watching MARHAM 74 in ZA463 putting the GR4 through its paces for the last time. (Marham 74 was also in ZG752 - the penultimate flight a few days earlier). A swept Tornado coming in low looks really quite mean and menacing.
There is some great video on the RAF Marham FB showing how fast the tornado was going before climbing out.
not the best best shots but its all i got.

I made the journey up from Wiltshire through the wind and rain, but it was worth it for that the high speed pass and climb.

Thanks
Yes Captain Haddock ( never thought I would be typing that in this life!) It was great to see a Tornado at ' Full Chat' as someone else on succinctly put it. Normally the high light for me was watching the afterburner take off - going to miss the roar of the engines and smell of the fumes!
