Managed to get a few hours away from work to catch this C-5M Super Galaxy landing at RAF Waddington

Great pics , went yesterday glad someone got it , lucky you didnt get a big truck at the lights . What time did it dept? thanks. Rob.

Unfortunately I couldn't wait for the departure, but I think it left around 16:45

It's the 54 Squadron anniversary special. The markings were applied over two years ago, but it hasn't flown since some time before then!

Great catch. That's probably the largest a/c ever to land there. Certainly never had one at any of the shows.
