Good catch! Two dumb questions..1] how did it get there? 2] what is the dodgy taped red 'wire' for?

I believe it flew in some time ago for work and has been in the Harrods hangar for ages now.
According to somebody who answered my query about it on the Stansted Google group this morning it's to do with tail rotor balancing - I just hope the tape is strong!

It's been in and out of Duxford the last couple of days too.
The temporary wiring is apparently some kind of tail rotor vibration sensor.
