Hi all, thanks for looking at this post.
Having driven up from South Wales during the morning, we found on arrival at Marham that the field kindly opened by the farmer was already full so we had to make do with whatever spot we could find. Having been very concerned about the weather it at least brightened up enough for the event to happen, but the photographic conditions were what I would describe as challenging. Here are four images I thought were at least worth sharing.

Thanks for looking, and thanks to everyone at RAF Marham for a great afternoon.

Thank you both for the comments!
It's a shame you couldn't be there James - that said it was quite a gamble for us i.e. a 440 mile return trip which given the whether forecast could so easily have blown us out. Still, I'm glad we did bother in the end.

Thanks Arkie603
As days go it reminded me very much of watching the last ever Concorde flight land at Filton.

I'd say it was well worth your long journey, you've captured a historic day with a great set of shots and made the difficult conditons add to the impact of the photos rather than detract, brilliant.

Very nice shots, we made the trip from Aberdeen 1100 miles for us, but well worth it. We met and spoke to many nice folk during the day.
Cheers.

Surely worth the trip for those last nine-ship pics which must have us all green with envy. The one with the formation in silhouette is quite dramatic.
