Ok I admit it. They aren't really taken at Groom Lake, but they were taken on 14th Feb 2019. As I'm sure you know they were actually taken at RAF Brize Norton. Interestingly an hour earlier the area was totally fogged in.

Anyway, be honest. Had I put Brize Norton most of you wouldn't have looked at all. And I know photos of aircraft on approach to Brize Norton are often done, but the same applies to the Tornado farewell flypasts next week where many many people will post what are largely the same photos, which is really pretty much the same.

Thanks for looking and sorry for the subterfuge.

Hi Chris.
No need for the misleading title.
The last few pages of photos don't have any Brize shots so why think nobody would want to look.
If they're any good then we'll look. They are...so I am.

Mike.

I will be honest , that was a bit disappointing not to see Groom lake, Nevada shots, but nothing wrong with Brize Oxfordshire !

I don't think fighter control is a fashion contest. People just post from their local fields. I only post side on shots from East Anglia mainly to record what's going on locally. If only 10 people have a look that's fine - pre internet days we used to show our photos to a few mates whom would feign interest and then the prints would disappear into a box never to be seen again ( until the wonderful nostalgia section on FC)
