Hi everybody,

today some examples of the various arrivals and departures from Aviano AFB in the 90's :cool:

Many of these planes were held in Aviano for various conflicts between the years 1990 and 2000

Sorry for the low quality of the photos but are taken from slides and obviously were taken with cameras now obsolete.

You have the first AK A-10 as an ANG it's active duty. Nice shots

Superb selection,certainly had some variety.Really like the AK aircraft and nice to see some C130's with tailcodes.

Wow!

Some of those really bring back a few memories.

I did visit Aviano on a touchdown trip during one of the conflicts in the 1990s - I was reminded that they shut the main road during recoveries and there were hundreds of spotters just in the road watching the action - no hassle from the Carabinerei !
