If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Nice with the yellow chute. Are the aircraft slightly different shades of grey or is it the pics or my eyes!?

Hi all,

as a newbie, can I ask where these were taken from? I have looked on the airfield viewing guides and various maps, it looks like 27 near the Washpool Lane for westerly wind.
I see for 09, I will need to go near the lane up from the village of Marston Meysey. I have never been to Fairford and I would like to ensure I stick to the correct areas and procedure, and this site has helped me lately with our recent visits to Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Marham. many thanks George.

Hi GeorgeE,
These were taken from the main road verge, just up from crash gate 7 I think it is, over the road from the 'bomb dump' I think folks call it.
It's just about where the 'blue' camera symbol is on the map in the viewing guide available on the Fairford page.
Hope that helps.
