Rest easy PB, on my screen they appear to have been shot 90 minutes after everybody else! (Sundown ;) )
They would be a nice set as far as I can ascertain?

How could they have been shot 90 minutes after everyone else? Thought once they landed that was it, they didn't fly again 90 minutes after arriving did they?

Apart from all the other comments about the arrival of the F35s it is nice to see that Dusty Bin made an appearance, a superb set of photographs which you should be justly proud and that goes for all the photographs that have been obtained on this very special day congratulations to everybody.

Superbly taken, beautifully clear set of photos. Well done :)

I would have to agree that they are perhaps a touch dark... but it doesn't spoil them.

As with any other art form, photography is subjective - there is no right or wrong generally speaking. Yes some are darker than other sets but they are still very good photographs (in my opinion :) ).

Thanks , it's great to see them in the UK at last , and in Naarfick at that .
Tech. ques. Do they have to do a Stol or Vtol landing every time in normal ops ? Or are they like Harriers ? In that a non V/Stol landing is non normal .

Thanks all, correct they are a tad dark. I was having a play around with settings to try and get a deeper blue in the sky. That said, a lot of other images I've seen from that day are a hell of a lot brighter than it actually was.

It was late evening and wanted to go with a bit more of a sunset vibe!

Got to say, I think the Tonkas may be a tad on the dark side but certainly not 'too' dark. The F35s on the other hand are fantastic! I love the light! Makes it look like a studio shot. Love them!
