107FS MI ANG A-10's at The Hall.

Post by BOLLO » Sat Jun 02, 2018 12:39 pm

Hello all.Was able to make it down on Thursday for the late arrival of the Red Devils in to Hall and was lucky enough to be in the right place today for the departure of TABOR 31 flt of 6 depart to Latvia,WX on both days was not ideal but I think today's departure via Echo made up for Thursday's arrivals. Here are a few with a few of TABOR 43 and his low arrival and 31/36 departing via Echo this morning.

Nice shots of the A10's, particularly like the special anniversary scheme, it's so whacky it's good!

What a pity the weather spoilt things once more, particularly after the good spell of weather we have all enjoyed.

I guess timing is everything.

Just as a matter of interest, why was Mildenhall preferred to Lakenheath for the transit?..it wasn't a last minute change after all.

Well done mate, lovely shots.
I was all ready to get over there Saturday (in the low viz company vehicle with bucket attachment !) but got a phone call from boss just as they were getting ready to depart. It's like she knew my plan lol.

Lovely to see A-10s in the country again. I wonder if any will do a quick fly-by of Bentwaters or Woodbridge, just for old times sake. 😂

How come they're staying at Mildenhall and not Lakenheath?

They departed to Latvia for Sabre Strike Ex chap and won't be coming back our way I'm afraid. Not a clue why they chose the Hall over Lakenheath but glad they did .
