WOW !!!! Bwlch 10/8/10

Post by flyingslug_0 » Tue Aug 10, 2010 5:26 pm

Hi all, just got in after a day of fast jets thundering past me at 250ft doing 400+kts.  My first time shooting low level aircraft and first time at the "Loop". Met up with Monstermob and load of other guys at the Bwlch and I can recommend it as probably the best spot in the world   . We had Hawks, Tinkas, Phoons and seen loads more not going down Bwlch but using Cad. Two Harriers have just screamed past my hotel window going down the Bwlch :'( Oh well theres always tomorrow.

Fantastic set-'specially for your first time up there-very lucky  Glad to see the Loop still as active as ever (recent rumours were a bit scary, but seems that's all they were :thumb: ) Good luck for tomorrow-look forward to seeing the results

Fantastic,

Truly. Glad that so far your two days in Wales have been memorable, well done on the Saudi typhoon,

Valley was quiet except apaches as far as I'm aware,

Let's hope the next 3 days are as good for you

Very nicely done for your first go sir.

Catching a Saudi Phoon low level is fantastic!

Very nice mate, i was about in the Valley at the bottom on your first pic to the left and got Voodoo 1-2-3 about 15-45ish but believe the Bwlch got a pair of Harriers just before 5 so things are back to normal :thumb:

Thanks everyone for your comments, I was told by the "pros" that seeing a Special Tonka was rare, but to see a Saudi Phoon was even more so.....but to see them on you first ever outing was very lucky, they want me to go with them every time now

Fingers crossed for tomorrow Cad East/West then its home on thursday. :'( :'(
