Warton Friday Red Letter Day!

Post by mark17 » Sat Sep 16, 2017 7:58 pm

Hi all,

After having a great day at Coningsby on Monday I decided to end my week holiday at my local Warton.

What a day it turned out to be! I was happy to see the Saudi Tornado out on the apron when I arrived so would have been happy with just that but Warton provided much more.........

I have certainly got my aviation mojo back after a tough time.

1st movement was T9 in the Saudi Tonka

Next up was primer hawk ZB129

Unfortunately the Hawk had technical difficulties and only did 2 circuits, a small lull in action but then T29 called up for taxi, which I think was my movement of the day, the Omani painted Hawk ZB126

Then as I was packing up T29 and T5 called up for start in Typhoons and to top my good day off I got the Omani painted Typhoon ZR402 and IPA6 tooled up so a good day turned onto a fantastic day  .

Great set, esp the Tonka + the Omani Hawk. You've probably also won tonight's Lottery.

Does my head in that place,I was there all afternoon Monday on my week off and saw nothing.
But then i made up for it by spending two days at Coningsby Thursday and Friday.
That new fence they have is horrible for take off shots now.
How did you see over for the shots?

Looks like a great day at Warton but I think you got your photo aspect ratio wrong, they look a little squished?
You want the Aladeen news, or the Aladeen news?
