A Week In The Lakes

Post by FlightLevelImages » Tue Sep 05, 2017 6:00 pm

A few short dashes up the hills last week produced a reasonable return. Great company throughout, Dunmail East on Tuesday morning with Adrian, Thursday lunchtime on Lanty with Ben and Great How with my 7yr old daughter late Friday morning (the last shot is her first ever with an SLR - an old 1000D and even older Sigma 70-300 handed to her only 2 mins earlier!). There was also a one hour blank on Lanty in great afternoon sun on Wednesday which otherwise only produced looks of perplexity when I returned late from the shops with the BBQ food, covered in sweat and boots full of bracken. Ambleside Co-op is obviously quite overgrown this time of year......!

6. Accidentally leaving my sunglasses 'at the Co-op' on the fruitless Wednesday produced the alibi for this short visit to find them

16. I think she got the bug and was visibly upset when she missed the Tornado as we talked to some walkers while not being as rude as her dad to break off! Really proud of her efforts.

They're brilliant.
No.16 is a fine effort. Let's hope she keeps it up!
Best regards,
