Had a blast in Romania last Saturday, visiting this MIG21 Air Base. Everything was possible, and lots of action for only a 3 hour airshow.

Great set from a great location. Its a cracking base to go to and get up close and personal to some of the last European based MiG21s

No.9 is great ..... a bit of "jelly" and a front view of the great machine. Of course any of the MIGs deserve credit. Not for the type but for the shots!

That would have been a Romanian air force Puma . You could get flights on them in the afternoon

One of the best sets posted this year, looks like an amazing place for our hobby.

The open day was only announced at the Facebook page of Campia Turzii, only 1 or 2 months before the event.
No charge, no security checks and you could photograph everything you want.
