An unusual visitor to Hurn today was Turkish Army Be200 5001
A couple of shots of it taxiing to MCA Aviation on arrival for some tlc

Excellent catch, not often you see that this far North.
Does that CL-44 Guppy still fly?

The Conroy Guppy hasn't flown for something like 15 years or more and has had several sessions attempting to get it airworthy, the latest attempt ended a few weeks ago and I was told a "final decision" will be made within the next 2 weeks though that's been said before. Some reports say that the CAA will never let it fly again, though the owners agent states he is allowed one flight.
There is a rumour doing the rounds that it is bound for the Bournemouth Air Museum but this is not correct. I was told that they have not been asked, and anyway do not have the space.

The Beech arrived at 15.46 and was reported hangared fairly quickly at MCA Avn
