A400 Atlas Low Level Lake District - 23-11-16

Post by FlightLevelImages » Mon Dec 05, 2016 8:48 pm

Hi all. Newby on this site and couldn't find any shots of the new big bird on here so thought I'd post these for interest - taken in the Lake District near Ambleside 23-11-16.

The Tucs came earlier which was a good warm up for props. Other than that a Hawk went high over Loughrigg and a Tornado and Hawk went up the Struggle to Ullswater (I think the Tornado must have come from Great Langdale). I was hillsided by another Tuc while climbing at 11am and another roadside when leaving at 3pm.

Cheers, Jamie

One did a low pass over my Garden here in Wales a few weeks ago but couldn't get to the camera quick enough.

She looks great at low level, have caught her twice low over South Wales in the Usk valley. Awesome photos!
