Post by np1991 » Fri Nov 25, 2016 4:38 pm

Hi all,
A few from the past couple weeks after Joint Warrior which saw VP-45 return and a few other MPAs arrive too, plus a couple bits and pieces added in making it a not bad period.

Cracking set Niall - great quality and most unusual compositions. Still think that head-on Voyager is stunning.

Great shots! Love #14 :D

Interesting in #9 all 5 tiffy's have their refueling probes extended, is that part of pre-flight checks?

Thanks for posting :thumb:

Agree with Al - the Voyager head-on is superb.

If they've been tanking the groundcrew will inspect the IFR probes when they taxi in. If there's no issues they retract them before shutting down the engines.

You've certainly had a good crack at the P8's at Lossie the last few months. Nice selection of pics as usual Niall, particularly the head on of the Voyager with the reverse thrust buckets open.
