Coningsby

Post by Lightningboy2000 » Thu Oct 27, 2016 11:36 pm

Rode shotgun with Starfighter Steve to Coningsby on Wednesday to see what we could get.
There were some challenging moments for various reasons including some rolling mist in the morning, oh and two people falling off the same step ladders, in style I hasten to add. Needless to say I'm sure those ladders are on the way to be broken into many tiny little pieces and sold on as aluminium scrap!

Many thanks again to Steve for another day full of thrills and spills (quite literally) & apologies for falling onto those ladders - I must try and shed a few pounds, i'll make a smaller dent next time! Maybe I should take less cakes with me! ;-)

Thanks for looking...

Nice set. The shot of the P8, with the refueling truck behind, it's looks like it's wearing the E-3's radar sensor!

Now that the lads on Folly Road need to buy stepladders, they'll need to know which are cursed so that they can avoid them. Please tell.

Best advice I can give is don't go up any that I've just used as you're doomed. Either they were cursed from the start or I am!

Thank you! That radar looks right somehow doesn't it. I just knew somebody was going to point that out to me!

Unfortunately I had left the scene after I made my fall and monkey swing from the fence. Steve my accomplice would certainly have murdered me if I had taken a photo of him falling through the air. There are pictures of the aftermath but they are classified under an "Eyes Only" designation. :ninja:

Have just forwarded a picture to Martin of said fall have contacted my solicitors (poke him, stoke him and broke him) and are currently preparing the law suit. If anyone sees a very small piece of shin bone near fence by Battle Of Britain - reward negotiable depending on how much I get out of him . :halo:

Steve the temporary down but not out Starfighter. :thumb:

Well I must well and truly apologise for bringing my friends hobby to a standstill after wobbling off the top of the stepladders that he then proceeded to use.
I now have a weight complex as I must be so fat and overweight that the support struts bent when I went up them, which then caused Steve's calamitous, bone shattering fall to earth. Well he can prepare all the law suits he can, because I'm near penniless already, I know I shouldn't have spent so much money on cakes! ;-)
Looks like I'll be condemned to be his slave and man servant from now on! :'(
If there was anybody with dash cam footage driving past the BBMF hangar of a man involuntarily falling from stepladders at about 17:05 on 26/10/16, then please PM me!
:ninja:
This photo was forwarded to me by Steve's Solicitors as evidence...
