Well it has been a while since I posted anything here. Thankfully, I've found my aviation mojo again recently after a change in job, house move and various other bits and pieces.
Last week, I managed to escape work and the frantic build up of the Alfred Dunhill Links, and make a spontaneous trip north to RAF Lossiemouth from Edinburgh. The sun glistened for the entire day and I was delighted to just be standing in one of my favourite areas in the UK.
Anyway, first up some of the home team;

With the culmination of Exercise Cable Car and the proceeding exercise Joint Warrior 16-2, RAF Lossiemouth was graced with no less than seven USN P8's throughout the day. A sign of things to come for the Morayshire base!

And of course, the Portuguese F16's made an appearance late afternoon.

Finally, the Fleet Air Arm appeared with two Seaking ASaC Mk.7's, which seen a mad dash over to 202 Squadron to catch them. Just what you need after a long day! I would have impressed the Team GB Rio selectors with the speed I was travelling!!

A great day, great weather and great company. Lovely to see some familiar faces, meet a couple of new ones. Just wish I had a bit longer with you all.
Hope all that go chasing JW traffic have a great time. Safe travels!
All the best and thanks for looking!
