48 Hours at Mildenhall- 16th/17th August 2016

Post by billydog » Wed Aug 17, 2016 3:26 pm

A selection of images from Tuesday afternoon/Wednesday morning at Mildenhall, with a few from Lakenheath of the visiting RNAF F-16AM's that visited on Wednesday morning.
Pretty decent couple of days! :D

RCH412 departed earlier in the day after spending a few days in maintenance, but had to return with the number 1 engine shut down after discovering a fuel leak.

The AC-130U was another that had been in maintenance, but thankfully he departed today without any dramas- and very obligingly right past the Pollards crash gate.

Great variety of movements at the Hall recently. Really like the markings on the Arizona, Alabama and Ohio tankers. The AC-130 close up is very nice also. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Justin :P
From the selection of frames photographed that looks like one great afternoon at the fenceline :O
I hate it when work gets in the way but glad to hear you will be getting out more in the future.

Love the Lakenheath shots. :thumb:
All the best

Guy across the street is in the Air Guard At St. Joe, can I copy the 3 C-130's and give him prints?
