I finally got time to process some of my images the first Tuesday of Joint Warrior at Lossie. A sunny day but bitterly cold and windy, it was quite hard to move I had so many layers on. Some damn fine action to be had & great to have the chance to photograph F-16’s again, thirty five years after I first visited Lossie to see the 388th TFW machines from Hill at TBM ’81. 6. Frozen to the bone but still theres heat haze - the exhaust gases from the engines being blown towards us by the wind.

I think it may have been you I spoke too on the fence line your images are very similar to mine you were with your daughter?

The Birdman of Brize? Yes, hope you enjoyed Wednesday on base. I noticed a couple of guys beside the Birdmobile in the background of my F-16 afternoon departure shots on Wed & thought it might be you. I haven't posted any of Lucy's images as ( as everyone knows) she always does a much better job than me.
