Al Bateen: UAE Chopper Movements

Post by Jazz » Sat Mar 19, 2016 3:45 pm

A few chopper movements caught at Al Bateen Airport, during the recent Abu Dhabi Air Expo event on 10th March.
The Expo static had NSRC AW139 358, with the ID plate stating Serial No. 31568 and Manufacture Date Nov 2014. Nothing amazing but something different...

Love the super puma shots

Is it a biennial event? Sounds like a good excuse for a city break.

Yes S51, its settled down to a biennial event now, so 2018 next. Not as busy for military movs these days, with the C-130H's and CN-235's moving out to AUH.

Superb set, interesting the different mod states of the same aircraft type.

Cheers, Scuba :thumb:
Of the Pumas, 122 & 126 are both marked as AS332B's (though 126 is reportedly an AS332B1), while 128 is marked as an AS332M (reportedly VIP-fit).
