Nice set. How many F-15s went up in the morning? Just caught the final two in the circuit, and only saw two more (departures after lunch) before calling it a day.

Hi Dan,

Like you I only caught the two last 493rd jets back yesterday. I gather it was six in the morning plus the two in the afternoon. I went back to Mildenhall today and they only launched two, although I would have missed the early morning flights if there was any.

Looking at '027' on the bank I think Mark was standing right next to me!

I've put a nearly identical shot on UKAR too!

Just two today!? Slim pickings at the moment! Is it likely to improve next week?

Hi Dan,

I don't really know I'm afraid. I do know there's quite a few away but there should still be plenty about. I've never bought into the old urban myth that goes around most years at this time when it's claimed that they haven't got no money and have to wait until October - I'd like to think the USAF is competent enough to be able to budget over a twelve month period. They should have had enough practise by now, but next to no flying does seem rather peculiar I must admit.

Hi Mark :P

Great post, all-round, but those Reaper pics have it

I may of course be slightly biased

Thanks
