F-22A's Departing hall, My take on a brilliant morning!

Post by james.25 » Sun Sep 13, 2015 2:14 pm

An opportunity not to be missed! Found out about the Raptor stop over when I got home from work Friday. Speculation about them leaving some time Saturday meant a quick phone call to the nook campsite and a frantic root around in the garage for the tent! Half hour later me and my 6 year old son were on our way to Mildenhall! I must say Iv'e never seen Johns field so packed before. Me my boy and a mate of mine managed to perch ourselves on the edge of the trailer amongst many others to get a front seat viewing for what must be Mildenhall's highlight of the year...so far!

Anyway, here is a small selection of my efforts.

Crackin photos mate. I was there as well. My first time at mildenhall and at johns field. Didn't think it was busy, but I guess if you want a clear view to get some photos then it could be frustrating!

It was a very exciting couple of hours :thumb:
