Spadeadam 20/4 plus a special tail!

Post by TONKA938 » Sat Apr 11, 2015 11:31 am

Spent a few hours at Spadeadam yesterday, 2 HH-60's in the morning and then a 4 ship of GR4's call sign Mentor. I only managed to catch one that flew south over the range the rest stayed north so I only caught glimpses. The one I did catch was a 15 Sqn special tail which was nice. In the afternoon 'Charlie 31 & 32' were on the range but I didn't see them would be nice to know what types they were!

It was very hazy so the pictures are not amazing but it was great few hours I hope you enjoy!

Nice to see the local (to me!) Pavehawks paying you a visit.
It is possible that "Charlie" 31/2 was actually Jolly31/2 as this is what Jolly often sounds like with an American accent.
Of course the HH60s may not be calling Jolly whilst they are on excercise, just a thought :)
Stig.
