Sometimes it just works out.

Post by benyboy » Mon Mar 16, 2015 10:38 pm

There was no way I was going to miss the A-10`s this time. If I had to sit on that beach all week I would get them :D

After the disappointment of not being able to get to LN and all the will they go here, will they go there, yes, no, maybe... I just went to Donna Nook and hoped for the best. It did not look good when I got there, low cloud put the eagles off and I really thought I had called it wrong. Then over the scanner "Confirm, we are four Alpha Tens"

I had a really really good day. Four A-10`s on the range for an hour, what more can you ask for. I hope everybody gets to see them at some point :thumb:

There will be a few more tomorrow, when I figure out what I have done to photoshop

Thanks for looking.

Ben

Cheers. I`m happy with them. A lens with the reach to get some decent spluff shots would have been nice but I`m finding it hard to complain about anything from today. Looking around the forum and the Facebook page, it looks like we all got good results today. Not to mention an awesome experience.

Thank you for the comments, much appreciated :thumb:

GhostFlight, there is a NOTAM out for Donna Nook tomorrow but the weather looks like it will be just as bad as it has been all week. Makes me wonder if they will stay longer to complete any planned training. This weekend would be good :D

The 250mm lens just did not cut it on the high up streaming and spluff shots so last one from me.

I hope the weather clears for the next couple of days and everybody gets there chance to see them :thumb:

Captain Scarlet is indestructable, you are not! Remember this, do not try to imitate him.
